                       Virtual Tour

This is just a sample of some of the places that you can visit when you arrange for a tour.

The beauty of a Shark's Tour is that you do not have to go to the regular tourist places, and you can go anywhere on your own schedule.

There are no limits to what you can see, and there is no tour guide saying that you must get back on the bus to get to the next attraction.

You can make your own schedule and you can see the places and sights that most interrest you. You don't have to know the name of a place, you can just know that you want to go to a beautiful secluded beach, and we can figure it out from there.

This is Mauna Kea the tallest mountain on the planet measured form the bottom of the ocean. This picture was taken in February '02 when we had a lot of snow. If clouds aren't backed up against the mountain you can see this peek from many different directions on the island. On top of Mauna Kea are 13 observatories; because of being in the middle of the pacific this spot is the best place to look into the stars. A trip to the observatory at 9,000 feet offers a panoramic view of the Big Island. Amateur stargazing and trained facilitators offer tips on viewing the constellations.

The warm pond of Puna offers a relaxing swim in a beautiful location, where the warm hot springs water mixes with the waves of the Pacific Ocean.

Mauna Loa is the largest mountain in volume on the planet as measured form the bottom of the ocean. This volcano has a completely different shape than one would think of as a volcano. The foreground shows Kilauea Iki, a crater just to the east of Kilauea Crater that you can hike right through the middle of. This volcano looks like a gentle giant; with it's smooth tapered size and rounded dome but actually is overdue for an eruption.

This state park has a loop trail where you see this falls at 439 feet high, surrounded by beautiful vegetation, other falls, and large bamboo and flowers. The falls are a must for travelers to the Big Island. Catch a glimpse of how water has eroded the east side of the island.
